James V. Strauss received his Board Certifcation in 1984 from the National Examining Board of Oculariats and is a Board Approved Diplomate Member of the American Society of Ocularists (ASO). He has served on the Education Committee and Baord of Directors of the ASO and is a frequent faculity lecturer. James is also a Clinical Assistant in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester.
In addition to patient care, he designs and fabricates the tools and products listed on this website. Being in the profession for over 30+ years, James has developed these products to help Ocularists fabricate protheses with more quality and precision. All of the products listed are made from quality materials and machined with the best CNC machines in the industry.
